DearFile is a practical map for the people you trust.

We are building DearFile to help families organize practical instructions, important contacts, and where to find key documents. The goal is a clear place to start when the person who usually knows the answers is unavailable.

DearFile is not a will, estate plan, or password manager. It is for useful directions: who to contact, which institution holds a document, where paperwork is kept, and what needs attention at home.

DearFile does not ask for passwords. It focuses on locations, contacts, and instructions. People should still decide carefully what to record and who may see it.

A Free plan is planned for the initial launch. DearFile is still being finished and tested, so product details may change before it opens.

What we believe

Practical preparation should be calm and manageable. Start with one useful contact or document location, then add more when you are ready.

Product and privacy claims should match what DearFile actually does. We explain how information is processed in the Privacy Notice and avoid promises that cannot be verified.

Useful guidance should be specific. Fill in what you know, skip what you do not, and review the file when life changes.
